Design
The name Loud Minds alludes to the general introvert personality, quiet on the outside but with passionate minds that never cease their machinations. Introverts like myself do not like to get attention and generally prefer to be left alone, therefore I decided the covers of Loud Minds must be simple and muted to be ignored by those around the reader, but still be pleasant and beautiful at which to look. Just like introverts, the interior of the magazine is more lively, with more colour and bolder typography, of course, without veering from the overall aesthetic of the publication. The photography style follows the same principles, focusing on few subjects, and muting colors when necessary to create a harmonious spread. The typography is kept clean and simple by using a combination of P22 Mackinak Pro and P22 Underground, along with few other sans serifs for particular spreads.
